V05. Lewis's, Last Summer, and the All-White Background Aesthetic
Hello! I hope everyone is having a fabulous summer. My news: I took a quick trip to Italy in early July. I didn’t purchase anything, but I did bring back COVID, which was quite humbling, to say the least.
All that to say, I survived, and here is another little round-up for you. :)
Fashion writer Jeremy Lewis, formally the editor of Garmento Magazine, started a substack that is well worth the subscription fee.
Creative studio MØRNING recently reported on the all-white background aesthetic.
Robbie Lawrence’s Olympic series for Time magazine is all beauty and grace.
RIP Online Ceramics. Their tee designs will live on in book form. Unfortunately, John Mayer takes up one too many pages, aside from that, I have no other notes.
Catherine Breillat’s new film, Last Summer, is on my to-watch list. Her films leave me dragging my jaw around for days. Watch it, then we can talk about it.
I recently found a copy of David Hicks: On Bathrooms. I could spend a lot of time in those rooms.
Nala Sinephro’s new album, Endlessness, is coming out on September 6th. The first single is such a tease!
